      Hi Joe,
I actually wanted to be a fighter pilot! Then at about 16 I realised I had rubbish eyesight so couldn’t!
I discovered science pretty late, and I didn’t fully know I wanted to be a scientist until about one year ago. I did a degree in Physiology because I found it pretty interesting, but thats the only reason I did it to be honest!
I wouldn’t worry if you don’t have a specific life plan, I didnt until the age of 24, and I love what I do as a scientist!
Your best bet is to do as best you can in school and college and the rest will take care of itself
Best of luck to you Joe

      Liam
