      There are lots of different injuries a person can get from exercising, the most common being damage to muscles and joints. A big reason that people get injured doing exercise is they try to do too much too soon. When you start doing exercise it is important to warm up to make sure your body is ready, and that your muscles get warm because when they are warm they work better. If you do a type of exercise that you are not used to, then it is important to do it in small amounts at first, and gradually build up the time you are doing it, otherwise you are at risk of injury because your body is not used to moving in that way.
