      Hi Jess

      The reasons behind altitude sickness are still being studied throughout the world. The mechanisms behind it are thought to do with fluid regulation and movement into the brain, increasing the pressure and causing the dizziness and headaches. There are a number of theories behind it but all centre around the brain whether it is limited oxygen or too much fluid.
