• Question: would it be possible to build inside mount Everest?

      By inside i assume you mean like a tunnel? Yes, i guess you could, although there is nothing really around that area. Also there is a great deal of glacier around Everest so that might make it difficult.

      …and getting the equipment up there – there are no roads, only narrow walking paths, so I’m not sure how the machinery would make it up to the area. Besides, Everest (and the mounatins nearby) are so majestical because they are so quiet and isolated from the rest of the world – it would be a shame to build anything up there that would spoil this.
