Most of us do research which is paid for by you guys, the public I mean, in what we call grants that we as scientists have to apply for. It doesn’t end up in our personal bank accounts and we use it to answer focused scientific questions such as “Does long-term exercise training reduce the risk of stroke? “. So we take the grant money and try to provide the best “Bang for your buck”, so we’re always trying to progress the field forwards in a stepping-stone manner.

I have a lot of data I have collected over a few years of research, some of it I don’t use right now but I will probably look at it again in a few years and come up with new ideas to test! So any data is good data, even if we don’t see what we want to see!
