• Question: Do you think if people could adapt to extreme conditions the world would be a better place?

      No. I think there are many ways of making the world a better place but that isn’t one of them.

      I think if we try to understand how and why people adapt to extreme environments then the world of medicine would be a better place. We would have a far greater understanding of how the body functions and adapts when it is at its most vulnerable e.g. in intensive care.
